When something just doesn’t feel right, and you wonder if going to the emergency room is your best option…
Call Us First!
Call your doctor’s office and let us help you determine what to do —either go to your doctor, urgent care or emergency room.
Making the right choice can save you time, hassle and money.
Urgent Care Centers Can Assist With:
- Sprains and strains.
- Fever.
- Severe sore throat or cough.
- Urinary tract infections.
- Minor cuts or bleeding which require stitches.
- Skin rashes.
- Eye redness or irritation.
- Vomiting or diarrhea.
True Emergency?
If your illness or injury is life-threatening or a true emergency, call 911 or proceed to a hospital-based emergency room. These are fully integrated systems with all the necessary equipment and specialists under one roof. If convenient, choose one of our preferred hospitals that have hospitalists who will continue to guide your care: Lutheran Medical Center, St. Anthony Hospital, Porter Adventist, Swedish Medical and Littleton Hospital.
NOTE: Avoid Free-Standing emergency rooms. They might look like an urgent care center, but they are different. They are equipped to receive patients with serious illness and injuries, but they may not offer all of the serves that a hospital-based emergency room will.
