We’re happy to welcome Physician Assistant Sherrie Montellano to our care team at Family and Internal Medicine at Highlands Ranch. Sherrie earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology atMetropolitan State College of Denver, and a Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at
the University of Colorado.She is looking forward to providing quality care to her patients.
• Performing detailed history and physical examination of patients
• Diagnosing and treating patients with orthopedic conditions/injuries, hypertension, diabetes, CHF, COPD, Parkinson Disease, and cancer
• Ordering laboratory tests, including x-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
• Interpreting laboratory tests and imaging, providing appropriate treatment plans based on results
Undergraduate: Metropolitan State College of Denver – Bachelor of Arts in Biology
Graduate: University of Colorado – Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies
I believe in working with patients in a partnership/team approach. I believe together with the patient we can collaborate and focus on health promotion and total well-being. I feel listening to the patient is important as well as caring for them and treating them as if I was treating a family member.
