Introduction:

Dr. Zemel is a member of our care team at the South Specialty Center. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from SUNY Downstate Medical Center and completed his internal medicine residency in 1984. Dr. Zemel is looking forward to providing quality care to his patients.

Care Philosophy:

As a Primary Care Provider, he considers himself an old-fashioned diagnostician. He is methodical and careful with history-taking. He enjoys educating patients at each visit.

Personal:

Dr. Zemel is known for being thoughtful, philosophical, and fun-loving. When not treating patients, he enjoys outdoor activities such as endurance sports, winter sports, frisbeeing, caring for animals at the zoo and supporting people in the performing arts.
