Introduction:

As a Certified Lactation Consultant, Family NP, OB/Women’s Health nurse and perinatal/early childhood educator, I bring significant experience in women’s health and pediatrics, and passion for helping the new and growing family. Having worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, I have experience assessing and managing the various challenges that lactating mothers and new parents face, including problems with latch, clogged ducts and mastitis, low milk supply, supplementation, pumping, inducing lactation and returning to work.

As a Doctor of Nursing Practice, I am passionate about both the art and science of health and health care. I enjoy getting to know my patients and taking the time to teach them how the body and medicine work. I believe this allows us to work together to develop holistic, individualized, realistic and sustainable health care goals.

Personal:

Kathleen is known for being compassionate, witty and an educator. When not treating patients, she enjoys spending her free time hiking, gardening, quilting, quiet time (especially outdoors) and travel.
