Introduction:
Amy received specialized training in pediatrics and neonatology through the Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant Program at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center graduating in 1999.
In addition to family practice, she’s worked specifically in pediatrics in a private clinic and in a clinic serving the immigrant population. With the immigrant population she also did pre and postnatal care. She’s also cared for the pediatric population on medical missions to Honduras for 10 years.
Along with working full time in family practice she’s worked shifts in the ER at the Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN for 13 years.
Amy received certified training in insertion and removal of IUDs and Nexplanon and have done regular gynecological care.
Lastly, she’s worked with the special need’s population (children and adults) both in the clinic setting as well as working on the medical team at a special needs camp for 7 years. Amy has a passion and commitment to care for and advocate for her community.

Personal:
Amy was raised in Colorado, and after practicing throughout the country, she is happy to be back in Colorado. She has worked with with a diverse patient population, as well as experience in Family Medicine, pediatrics, OB/GYN, urgent care, and emergency medicine. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, reading and spending time with her husband, adult children, and family.
