New West Physicians has participated for the past three years in the AMGA Together 2 Goal Program, a national initiative uniting more than 150 medical groups and health systems to improve care for people with Type 2 diabetes.
The most recent results indicate that New West Physicians’ overall diabetes and hypertension control continues to be excellent, lipid control is now 3rd in the nation, and nephropathy screening rates have markedly improved.
New West Physicians is now 7th nationally in overall control of all diabetes metrics.
