Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV). A novel coronavirus (nCoV) is a new strain that has not been previously identified in humans.
It is confirmed that the transmission of Coronavirus is from human to human by droplets. When the infected is breathing, coughing, sneezing, talking and touching, droplets with the virus will spread to people around, in about one to two meters radius. When the virus leaves the patient, it would be hard for them to survive in the air.
