Colorado Virtual 5K

Would you like to make an impact on improving global health, one patient at a time?

New West Physicians is proud to support the first-ever Colorado Virtual 5K on the weekend of October 9^th, 2020. Colorado’s leading healthcare companies, including SCA, Orthopedic Centers of Colorado (OCC), Optum, and New West Physicians, are joining forces to raise awareness for One World Surgery (OWS). Participants can run, walk, hike, bike, or scoot to complete their 5K.

Our event will culminate in an online celebration on October 19^th to recognize sponsors, applaud 5K participants and donors, share photos, and learn more about upcoming medical missions.

We are also raising money to directly support a medical mission to Honduras in July 2021. Please consider giving what you can, as every dollar makes a huge difference. Teammates who donate $25 or more will receive a free OWS gaiter (while supplies last).

What is One World Surgery? OWS organizes and executes week-long surgical missions to Honduras and the Dominican Republic, helping people in low-income communities who do not have access to primary care and surgical needs. Many teammates like you have volunteered for a surgical mission, and say the experience is life-changing.
