Lyn Tison, MSN NP-C

A native of northern California, Lyn Tison is a nurse practitioner (NP) certified as an Adult NP through the American Nurses Association. Originally a graduate of a diploma school of nursing, she graduated from the University of San Francisco (BSN) in 1980 and from the University of California at San Francisco (MSN) in 1982.

She moved to Colorado after completing her MSN degrees. After working as a nurse educator and manager, including a stint with the U.S. Antarctic Program in 1996 she graduated from the Beth El College Nurse Practitioner program in Colorado Springs which is now a part of the University of Colorado system. She has had varied experiences as a NP, including occupational health, internal and family medicine and research. Special interests include primary care, allergy and asthma as well as geriatrics. In her leisure time she enjoys being out doors, photography, gardening, volunteering for several organizations and spending time with her dogs and parrots.
