Richard Bishop, MD

Philosophy:  “My patient relationships are based on shared responsibility.  My job is to provide information and treatment options.  I promote an optimal lifestyle through healthy diet and exercise, by limiting the use of alcohol, stopping smoking and reducing stress.  The patient’s job is to do it."

Personal:  Dr. Bishop is married and has five children.  He enjoys carpentry and recreational sports.  He grew up in Palo Alto, California.

Additional Qualifications:   He has held several positions as part of the Medical Staff governance at St. Anthony Hospitals including President of the staff.  He currently serves on the Centura Board of Trustees.
