Philosophy: “My patient relationships are based on shared responsibility. My job is to provide information and treatment options. I promote an optimal lifestyle through healthy diet and exercise, by limiting the use of alcohol, stopping smoking and reducing stress. The patient’s job is to do it."

Personal: Dr. Bishop is married and has five children. He enjoys carpentry and recreational sports. He grew up in Palo Alto, California.

Additional Qualifications: He has held several positions as part of the Medical Staff governance at St. Anthony Hospitals including President of the staff. He currently serves on the St Anthony North Board of Directors.
