CURRENT CLINICAL DRUG TRIALS ENROLLING NEW WEST PHYSICIANS
OSTEOARTHRITIS - For patients who need to take daily NSAID medication for their arthritis pain. Established or at high risk for Cardiovascular disease. One study currently enrolling.
HIGH TRIGLYCERIDES - For patients with triglyceride levels between 135 and 500. Must be on statin therapy. One study currently enrolling.
BLOOD CLOTS – For patients acutely diagnosed with Deep Vein Thrombosis or Pulmonary Embolism who need to start anti-coagulation therapy (such as Warfarin). One study currently enrolling.
ASTHMA – Must have had one exacerbation within the last 12 months. No COPD. One study currently enrolling.
COPD – Moderate to severe COPD. No asthma or chronic oxygen use. One study currently enrolling.
DIABETES TYPE II - Must be on long acting (basal) insulin. No oral diabetes medications other than metformin. One study currently enrolling.
HIGH CHOLESTEROL - Must have LDL (bad cholesterol) greater than 100. Established or at high risk for Cardiovascular Disease. Must be on statin therapy. One study currently enrolling.
