New West Physicians was incorporated in 1994. The organization is comprised of two companies – New West Physicians, P.C., which employs the physicians; and New West Management Services, Inc., which performs the administrative and management services for the organization. Both companies are for-profit entities which are owned and governed by the participating physicians. To provide the most comprehensive and best possible care to our patients, New West has aligned with over 500 of our specialist colleagues. A collaborative relationship between the Primary Care Physician and Specialist allow for continuity of care across the continuum to meet all of our patients’ healthcare needs.

The twenty primary care physicians who first established New West were united by a vision of working together in a common structure with a shared purpose: to improve the physical, mental and spiritual health of the communities they serve and to provide an integrated care-owned and managed health care delivery system that would allow them to remain competitive in the managed care marketplace.

Practice locations throughout the Denver metro area include Arvada, Broomfield, Cherry Creek, Denver, Evergreen, Golden, Lakewood, and Park Meadows.

New West serves all patient populations in the area. A strong patient focus and expertise in patient management has earned New West a favorable and respected status in the healthcare community. Under our managed care contracts, the organization has the freedom to deliver the best care to its patients. To support its patients in their health plans, New West has created sophisticated practice management systems to relieve physicians of administrative burdens allowing them to focus more of their time and attention on patient care.

As a way to enhance the patients’ experience with New West, and in support of their future expansion, the organization has developed programs in disease management, patient education and patient communication and services.
