Management Services Organization (MSO)

Referral Support Specialist

Full-time Referral Support Specialist position to join our team in Golden in our MSO office. This position will be primarily responsible for providing customer service to providers and patients by answering phone calls related to the referral process. In addition, this position will assist in processing multi-practice requests for all services that require pre-authorization in a manner that ensures quality, timeliness and accuracy.

  • A minimum of two years of experience within a healthcare setting is required
  • Has experience working in telephone customer service, computer data entry and on an electronic health record (EHRs).
  • Has applied knowledge of managed care, insurances and medical terminology
  • Is able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Has the ability to prioritize workload and communicate effectively with minimal supervision
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills is required

The appropriate candidate will be someone that is organized, detail oriented and is effectively able to communicate with physicians and patients on a professional level. Having an appropriate understanding of medical and insurance terminology is critical.

This is a full time position working Monday thru Friday, hours 8-5:00.

Medical Assistant

Full-Time position available with our busy Internal Medicine practice in Evergreen.  This position will perform essential functions of a Medical Assistant: room patients, review medications, anticipate Provider needs, task lab work and referrals, return patient calls, resolve patient issues, maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with patients and office staff. Communicate in a positive and effective manner. Use electronic medical records, portal and email effectively.

  • Must be Registered or Certified Medical Assistant
  • 2 years of prior medical office experience
  • Electronic Medical Records experience required
  • Multi-tasking skills a must, detail oriented, excellent patient care and customer service skills
  • Must be efficient, friendly, reliable and a team player

Management Services Organization (MSO)

Certified Coding Specialist

Full-time: Reviews documentation/charges to assure proper application of coding guidelines and policies are being met. Submits charges and maintains charge submission turnaround times. Communicates with providers and clinic staff regarding documentation and coding issues as well as communicates with front office clinic staff regarding insurance and payment matters. Assist MSO Business Office staff with claims rejections and denials for re-billing purposes. Understands Risk Adjustment Coding principles and educates providers on such principles.

Education, Skills and Abilities:

  • CPC certified
  • At least 2 years’ coding experience in health care setting preferred
  • Expanded knowledge of ICD-10, HCPCS, and CPT coding and associated guidelines
  • Previous medical chart auditing experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented and able to meet rigid deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience with EHR (Allscripts), Practice management systems (Centricity)
  • Able to function as an individual contributor as well as a team player

Bear Valley Family Practice

Medical Assistant/LPN

Full-Time position in a busy family practice will work with a provider as well as assist in the clinic by answering and triaging incoming calls , scheduling  appointments/tests, scanning patient records, prior authorizations and refilling medications.

  • Must be certified or registered MA or licensed LPN (CO licensed)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Family Practice required
  • Looking for an efficient, friendly and detailed oriented person with excellent patient care and customer service skills
  • Prior experience with an Electronic Health Record required
  • Triage experience preferred

Denver West Family Practice

Lead MA/LPN/RN

Full-Time position.  We are looking for a dynamic and experienced clinical lead for our busy Family Practice in Golden. Candidate must have 5+ years of experience and the clinical expertise to help guide the back office to support the MAs, Providers and the Practice Manager. Ideally this person will have lead experience with a knack for building relationships and being incredibly dependable and self-motivated. This position does not directly supervise employees, but will understand the dynamics of the clinical environment and lead with a positive and helpful disposition.   This position will have an equal amount of patient care and clinical support by working with a provider 1/2 time and working as the clinical support (triage, lab orders, ordering supplies, supporting MAs and provider, etc.) 1/2 time.  

  •            Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or Medical Assistant College.
  •            Valid state license or MA Certificate from an accredited school. 
  •            Current CPR certification.
  •             Ability to administer a variety of treatments and medications as directed.
  •            Ability to use various types of equipment for examination and treatment procedures. 
  •            Skill in taking vital signs. 
  •            Skill in maintaining records and writing reports. 
  •            Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public. 
  •            Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Hours are typically 4/10s with Wednesdays off

    • Must be Registered or Certified Medical Assistant.
    • 2 years of prior medical office experience REQUIRED, preferably in a Primary Care Medical Office.
    • Electronic Medical Records experience required.

    • Hours are 4 days per week, M – F 7:45 – 5:30 pm with Saturdays (Approx 1/mo).

Full-time position available assisting in the delivery of patient care by managing patient flow and working both front and back office as needed.  This position will be required to go to any NWP clinic or office that needs their assistance.

  • Must be a licensed LPN (CO licensed) or certified if an MA.
  • Minimum of two years prior experience functioning in this capacity. 
  • Special pay rate for float positions. 
  • Reliable transportation is a must.
