Management Services Organization (MSO)- Float Pool

LPN or MA

Full-time position available assisting in the delivery of patient care by managing patient flow and working both front and back office as needed.  This position will be required to go to any NWP clinic or office that needs their assistance.

  • Must be a licensed LPN (CO licensed) or certified if an MA.
  • Minimum of two years prior experience functioning in this capacity.

Operations Support Liaison

The Operations Department at New West Physicians is seeking a part-time (approximately 5 hours per week) Operations Support Team member to join the department.

This position in the MSO will report to the Operations Director, with primary responsibility to perform a supporting role for practice site operations, working with the MSO Managers, Practice Managers (PM’s), and site employees.

 The primary functions include:

  •  Work with the Operations Department to identify opportunities to improve customer service, teamwork and leadership development throughout the organization
  • Design initiatives to enhance and leverage organizational capabilities in the areas of leadership development and personal effectiveness
  • Assist with efforts to improve performance of employees, foster employee engagement and increase organizational effectiveness

 Referral Coordinator Assistant

Full-time Provides assistance to referral coordinators at different stages of high volume referral processing. Assists with insurance verification and notifies patients of processed referrals. Assists department with data collection and logs. Manages faxes and office supplies. Assists department leadership with projects.

  Education, Skills and Abilities:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a health care setting
  • 1 year of applied knowledge in managed care, insurance or medical terminology preferred
  • 1 year of computer data entry and telephonic customer service experience preferred
  • Experience with Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook programs and an electronic health record
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paces environment, ability to prioritize workload

 Case Manager / Care Coordinator

Full time RN.  Collaborates with insurance plans to improve patient experience, improve health of patients and lower total medical costs.  Provides telephonic patient education to individual high risk patients and analyzes data for population management opportunities. Document and communicate findings with physicians, work collaboratively with ACO team and Medical Director to develop action plans for gaps in care.

 Education, Skills and Abilities:

  • Registered Nurse with current Colorado License
  • Minimum of 3-5 year health care experience
  • Knowledge of patient education principles
  • Strong communication skills
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, providers, medical staff, plan staff

Full Time position who will work 4 days per week/10 hours per day (4/10s).  Assist in the delivery of primary health care and patient care management. Assistant to physician or primary care giver; performs selected Medical Assistant duties, keep patient flow according to schedule, prepare patient for care giver, triage, perform patient record keeping and charting, referrals for medications.

Must be a Certified Medical Assistant and/or have graduated from an accredited school.

  • 2 years prior experience as a MA required
  • Completed a recognized Medical Assistant Course or LPN certification
  • CPR certification required
  • Certification as Medical Assistant required
  • Must have the ability to lift, carry, push and pull objects up to 30 pounds, using appropriate body mechanics
