Job Description

Specialty Center

Receptionist

Full-time position as a Receptionist at our busy Specialty Center location. Responsibilities will include, checking in patients, answering phones, taking payments, scheduling appointments, scanning, faxing and daily financial reports.

 Qualifications include:

 One to Two years prior experience in a busy medical office; preferably primary care.

  • Must have experience handling a multi-system phone line.
  • Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHRs) is preferred.
  • Must have the ability to be organized, multi-task and prioritize daily work.
  • Must be detail oriented with excellent communication /customer service skills .
  • Work positively and efficiently with coworkers to accomplish all daily tasks; teamwork a must.

Position will be a four-day work week / 10-hours daily  7:00am – 5:30 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesdays off.

Management Services Organization (MSO)

RN Case Manager

Full-time RN Case Manager position to join our team in Golden in our MSO office. Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00. Position will require reviewing appropriate utilization of medical services by performing on-site and telephonic concurrent review of all hospital and skilled nursing facility admissions. Utilizes appropriate criteria in an effort to reduce re-admissions/return visits and provide continuity and quality of care to all patients. Assists with care coordination and discharge planning. Knowledge of resources available in the health care system to assist the physician and patient effectively. Document and communicate findings with physicians, work collaboratively with Medical Management team and Medical Director to troubleshoot difficult or complex cases. Requires reliable transportation to travel between facilities daily as well as availability for evening and weekend on-call coverage.

Requirements and Job Duties:
• RN with minimum of 3-5 years direct patient contact
• Case management experience, utilization management and/or managed care experience preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Employs analytical skills necessary for quality case management, utilization review, and quality improvement
• Coordinate with hospital staff and physicians for appropriate discharge and discharge planning
• Authorizes health care services in compliance with contractual agreements, health plan guidelines and medical necessity criteria
• Maintains proper documentation of the cases reviewed, case management activities, and the rationale for decisions
• Travel between facilities daily as well as availability for evening and weekend on-call coverage.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as required
• Experience with EHR, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel

Broomfield Family Practice

Scheduler

Full-time position will greets and register patients in a prompt, pleasant and helpful manner, instructs, directs and schedules patients . Serves as a liaison between patient and medical support staff. This position must be able to receive patients graciously and efficiently and assist staff as needed. Scheduling patients.

Education, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• At least 3 years extensive knowledge of front desk duties in a clinical environment

Insurance Financial Representative

Full-Time Position – Monday-Friday, 8-5 PM, one hour lunch.

The Insurance Financial Representative will provide comprehensive financial billing services to our patients while maximizing reimbursement from third party payors. The Insurance Financial Representative will prepare and submit claims to payors, make appropriate claim corrections, verify patient eligibility, respond to claim inquiries, and submit appeals when necessary.

Education, Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum three (3) recent years of third party billing experience, preferably for a large national insurance payor
• Strong knowledge of Health Insurance industry standards

IT Department - Helpdesk Analyst

Management Services Organization (MSO)

Full-Time Postion -Monday-Friday 8-5 with occasional evening or weekend work and scheduled on-call rotation. The IT Help Desk Analyst supports all staff members with any electronic communications, networking, software, and hardware computing problems or requests. The analyst is responsible for providing tier I and II technical support for all software environments based on Microsoft OS's. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of MS operating systems, Outlook/Exchange mail clients, MS Office applications, Web-based applications and basic phones/network troubleshooting.

Education, Skills and Abilities:

  • 1-3 years' experience in a Windows-based IT Help Desk environment
  • Prior experience in a medical help-desk position or Health IT preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 10, Server 2008, and Active Directory environments
  • Strong working knowledge of Outlook/Exchange, anti-spam, and anti-virus applications
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, LAN, WAN, 802.11, and other network protocols and services
  • Familiarity with Citrix environments
  • Experience using help desk ticketing software (i.e. ZenDesk, Remedy, SalesForce)
  • Experience using monitoring tools for network, server, and PC troubleshooting
  • Experience applying hardware and software patches, hotfixes, and service packs
  • Experience supporting PBX and VOIP systems is a plus
  • HTML or other web design experience is a plus
  • Comprehensive understanding of systems requirements
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to identify, research, document, and resolve technical problems in a timely manner
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High level of customer service and inter-personal skills required
  • Reliable automobile required for commute to sites as needed
  • Job requires some lifting of equipment weighing up to 30 pounds
